Title: From The Corner Of His Eye
Author: Dean Koontz
Publication Date:
In chapter 3 of the book, Koontz talks about two people; Junior Cain and his wife Naomi. Junior and Naomi were in the primeval forests of the Oregon coast. In the morning, Junior and his wife parked their car along the road and began to enter the forest in any direction.
The two have been married for about 14 months and their for each other grew stronger day by day. Junior was a physical therapist and Naomi was a house wife. Naomi was a beautiful girl and many men pursued her, even those much richer than Junior. Still, Naomi only wanted him, "not for what he owned or might one day acquiee, but because she claimed to see in hima shining soul"(Koontz 7).
While hiking, Naomi often sang when the trail was easy. She sang two of her favorite songs which were "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", and "What a Wonderful World". Junior really enjoyed her singing. On their journey through the forest, they always found some dangers that lay in the forest.
When I continue to read this book, I expect it to be very interesting. I really want to know more about the journey of Junior and Naomi. I also want to know about the mother at the beginning of the book who had two deaths. I think that Joe and Naomi would find something in the forest that would change their lives in some way. I do not know why I think this, I just do.

Koontz is a horror book writer--you are correct to expect something life-changing to happen in the woods (think about the symbolism!). I hope that you'll enjoy the book--though I haven't read this one, I've read several others, and the main characters have consistently been highly moral people who deal with weird supernatural stuff.
