Independent Reading Blog

So far, the book has gotton more interesting. Junior Cain and his wife Naomi was walking through a dark place in the forest. In the place was a bridge. Naomi was so ready to get to where they needed to go, she went across the bridge first. As Naomi was walking across the bridge, she slipped. Junior tried to grab her but his efforts was futile. When he tried to grab her, he accidently slipped and pushed her. Naomi slipped off of the bridge and fell about twenty feet. She landed flat on her face. Junior went down to see if she was dead; he hoped that she wasnt. "Junior was a physical therapist" (Koontz 34). He might be able to save her if she had a glimpse of life left.
I believe that further on in the book, Junior will go down there and Naomi would be very injured, but not dead. He would have to carry her all the way to their destination then they would have take on from there. They would probably meet someone down there with a phone or a medical background and they would be able to call the ambulance or help Naomi.
