My thoughts on the Literary Magazine...
I liked the smaller size literary magazine because I believe that it could be a lot more convenient and I think it looks better. The smaller one also had a mix of the short stories and the poems. The bigger one is kinda boring with the format. It really does not look like a magazine, it just has everything in the same type and format. Although it is not as creative as the smaller one, it has a lot of good poetry and short stories in it so the content in the bigger one is pretty good but the illustrations in the book really did not have anything to do with the writings.

NO TITLE...
There once was a boy named Mark.
He loved to play sports.
Everyday before he went home,
he would have fun on the courts.
But Mark was not very athletic,
he never seemed to know.
He had no jumper, he wasn't very tall,
and he was very slow.
Until one day at gym,
they picked teams for a game.
But Mark was never picked,
He sat at the side like a lame.
Mark wondered for long,
on why he never got picked.
But then all of a sudden,
something in Mark's head clicked!
He noticed when he played ball,
his shots would never go in.
And whenever he was in the game,
his team would never win.
When he would run at gym,
he always ended up in the back.
Then he noticed something again,
something that he lacked.
He lacked the talent of all the best,
He was never athletic at all.
He couldn't compete with all the rest,
He would always fall.
So now Mark is done with sports,
no more after school hitting the courts.
He now just sits at home and raves,
thinking of all the better days!
He loved to play sports.

Villanelle
I have lost my cat.
Finally, he has gone astray.
He suddenly vanished with my hat.
Do you miss your beloved cat?
Alas! I really don't.
I have lost my cat.
My hat is gone as well.
The beautiful straw creation.
He suddenly vanished with my hat.
Have you cried at all?
Not really, I don't miss it at all.
I have lost my cat.
The cat is gone thankfully.
Unfortunately, my hat is gone too.
I have lost my cat.
He suddenly vanished with the hat.
Finally, he has gone astray.
He suddenly vanished with my hat.
Do you miss your beloved cat?
Alas! I really don't.

Seasonal Haikus
Winter
Beautiful season
that is white with lots of snow
and people with colds
Summer
Very hot season
where people wear shorts with shirts
and can play outside
Spring
A blooming season
where trees and flowers blossom
and grow all their leaves
Fall
Colorful season
when leaves on trees change color
and fall to the ground

We Still Love You
I remember all the times we shared;
all the laughter, all the tears.
I remember the times you went away
for very long but you would never stay.
You were the easiest person to talk to
whether it was sports or any problems i had.
Having you there was a privilege
It was like having an extra dad.
Your loved was shared all through our family;
everyone loved you with all of their hearts.
I knew no one in the family
ever thought that we would part.
I never thought that you would die,
but now your at that beautiful place in the sky.
And I know one day we would come be with you,
And never again would we be so blue.
all the laughter, all the tears.
I remember the times you went away
for very long but you would never stay.
