How It Went
I use to lie awake at nights thinking of ways to kill my dad. Should I just go strangle him now while he is sleeping? Or maybe he is just too strong and would just throw me off and call the police. Then they would take me away without me getting any revenge. If only I could get hold on a gun. I would just threaten him and make him do crazy things like tell my mom that he was cheating on her with the dentist. My mom would never believe that he was cheating on her if I told her. If I threaten him before I kill him then I could make him suffer. Make him feel the pain I felt when mommy went to work at night and she would come. He would always make me go upstairs as soon as she got here. Even though I was only eight years old, I knew what was going on between the two of them. I had to do something about it. One day, I decided that it was time. Mommy had already gone off to work and she had already arrived. I noticed that every time she came over, they would put in a movie and about four or five hours later, they would be sleeping on the couch. So I waited. I layed in my bed and waited. For about four hours. Then, I did it. I finally did it. I crept down the stairs so quietly that even if they were still up, they would not hear me. I crept into the kitchen and pulled out the sharpest knife there was. And thats how I ended up here for the rest of my life.

My first day of first grade
My first day of 1st grade was really weird. When I walked into the classroom, I wondered why there were so many desk and no carpet or mats for us to take naps on. I didnt see any snacks or animal crackers for us on the teacher's desk and none of the other kids were crying while holding on to their parents. The teacher greeted me with a great smile on her face and asked me for my name. After I told her, she directed me to my seat and on my desk lay a worksheet with some things that i knew nothing about. There were numbers and dashes and even x's. "Today, we are going to learn about math." the teacher said.

When Being Bad Was Good...
I would never have my homework,
when the teacher would come my way.
She would sometimes ask me a question
but i would have nothing to say.
I would never do my projects,
not even my book reports too,
and when she would ask me why
Id say I had better things to do.
I would get detention after detention,
but I would never seem to go.
And even if I would get suspended,
My parents would never ever know.
And all of that would happened,
until I found out I had summer school.
And that is how it was,
when I thought that being bad was cool.
when the teacher would come my way.
She would sometimes ask me a question
but i would have nothing to say.
I would never do my projects,

My thoughts on the Literary Magazine...
I liked the smaller size literary magazine because I believe that it could be a lot more convenient and I think it looks better. The smaller one also had a mix of the short stories and the poems. The bigger one is kinda boring with the format. It really does not look like a magazine, it just has everything in the same type and format. Although it is not as creative as the smaller one, it has a lot of good poetry and short stories in it so the content in the bigger one is pretty good but the illustrations in the book really did not have anything to do with the writings.

NO TITLE...
There once was a boy named Mark.
He loved to play sports.
Everyday before he went home,
he would have fun on the courts.
But Mark was not very athletic,
he never seemed to know.
He had no jumper, he wasn't very tall,
and he was very slow.
Until one day at gym,
they picked teams for a game.
But Mark was never picked,
He sat at the side like a lame.
Mark wondered for long,
on why he never got picked.
But then all of a sudden,
something in Mark's head clicked!
He noticed when he played ball,
his shots would never go in.
And whenever he was in the game,
his team would never win.
When he would run at gym,
he always ended up in the back.
Then he noticed something again,
something that he lacked.
He lacked the talent of all the best,
He was never athletic at all.
He couldn't compete with all the rest,
He would always fall.
So now Mark is done with sports,
no more after school hitting the courts.
He now just sits at home and raves,
thinking of all the better days!

Villanelle
I have lost my cat.
Finally, he has gone astray.
He suddenly vanished with my hat.
Do you miss your beloved cat?
Alas! I really don't.
I have lost my cat.
My hat is gone as well.
The beautiful straw creation.
He suddenly vanished with my hat.
Have you cried at all?
Not really, I don't miss it at all.
I have lost my cat.
The cat is gone thankfully.
Unfortunately, my hat is gone too.
I have lost my cat.
He suddenly vanished with the hat.

Seasonal Haikus
Winter
Beautiful season
that is white with lots of snow
and people with colds
Summer
Very hot season
where people wear shorts with shirts
and can play outside
Spring
A blooming season
where trees and flowers blossom
and grow all their leaves
Fall
Colorful season
when leaves on trees change color
and fall to the ground

We Still Love You
I remember all the times we shared;
all the laughter, all the tears.
I remember the times you went away
for very long but you would never stay.
You were the easiest person to talk to
whether it was sports or any problems i had.
Having you there was a privilege
It was like having an extra dad.
Your loved was shared all through our family;
everyone loved you with all of their hearts.
I knew no one in the family
ever thought that we would part.
I never thought that you would die,
but now your at that beautiful place in the sky.
And I know one day we would come be with you,
And never again would we be so blue.
all the laughter, all the tears.

Childrens story
One day, Mrs. Maxon and Ms. Monroe brought a bird to class. The bird was big, bright, and very colorful. "Ooooo", the kids said as Mrs. Maxon and Ms. Monroe brought the bird to the front of the class. "Gather around kids", said Mrs. Maxon. All the kids in the class moved to the front of the class. "This is not an ordinary bird. This is a magical bird." said Mrs. Maxon. " What does it do?" said one of the children. “If you believe in it, it can turn you into any animal you want to be.” Mrs. Maxon said. None of the kids believed her so Ms. Monroe walked up to the bird and imagined being her favorite animal which was a giant panda. She closed her eyes and all of a sudden, she became a beautiful orange giant panda. “Whooa” the kids exclaimed. The all had a surprised look on their faces. Their teacher had just turned into an orange giant panda! “I wanna try!” screamed the kids. One by one the children would go up to the front of the class, close their eyes, and turned into their favorite animal. Yonis turned into a green camel and Rhys turned into a green mouse. Andrew turned into a blue leopard gecko and Dionna turned into a blue dog. Chaiyah turned into a red cat and Kessler turned into a black snake. Mary-Ryan turned into a green zebra fish and Cody turned into a silver leopard gecko. Drew turned into a gold trigger fish and Leo turned into a blue skunk. Madeline turned into an orange beluga whale and Will turned into a sky blue african penguin. Jamel and Jamari both turned into a gold tiger. Anna turned into a pea green seal and Alexa turned into a light blue chimpanzee. Leila turned into a hot pink persian cat and Gabrielle turned into a black peacock. Jania turned into a light pink cheetah and Jared a teal south king snake. Anna turned into a fuschia horse.

Pet Peeves
- smacking
- eye rolling
- sneezing without covering your mouth
- people driving too slow
- when people drive up under the other car in front of them so that you can not come in
- missing lay-ups
- when people do he drills wrong at practice and makes the coach make us run
- ball hogging
- bragging
- when people want you to do things for them but when you ask them to do something they tell you to do it yourself

Hamilton
Hamilton decides to stay up because he wants to see the whole play. All during the play, Hamilton is changing his mind about who he believes killed his father. Just as Hamilton believes that one suspect killed his father, another one comes along and gives him reasons to believe that they killed his father. Just as they are about to reveal who killed Hamilton's father, Hamilton falls asleep. Just as he wakes up, he notices that the play is already over. While they are leaving Hamilton says to Horatio, "So who really did kill my father?". "Ford Branff" said Horatio. Fora always wanted to buy the paper plant so when he finally realized that the only way he would get it is if he was dead, he killed him. He sent people to follow Horatio's dad and see where he eats lunch. Then he payed the restaurant workers to poison his food. The sickness that he had was curable but he also offered the doctors in town a bribe that they could not resist so that they would not cure Hamilton's father. Sooner or later, he died and Ford bought off the paper plant.
The day of the tornado drill
About five minutes after I got to the school, I heard this really loud, siren type sound go off. "What is that?" i said. " Shawn calmly replied,"Its the tornado sirens". When he told me that, the first thing I thought about was where my little sister was. After Shawn an I found her, they made everyone go to the cafeteria. After about five minutes passed, they made everyone move to the band room. I did my biology homework while I was in the band room then after about twenty minutes or so, they dismissed everyone to first period.

First Bday party i remember going to...
The first birthday party that i remember going to was my grandmother's eightieth birthday party. My family and I flew all the drove all the way down to Florida from New York for this very special occasion. When we got to my aunts house the only thing I wanted to do was go to sleep. After we slept for about an hour or two, it was time to get ready for the party. Everyone was running all over the place trying to get ready to go to the party.
When we finally got to the party, everyone was so glad to see us. My brothers and I received the warmest welcomes from people that we didn't even know. They would all give us hugs and kisses an each of them would say" I remember when you were still walking around wearing pampers". The only people we really recognized was my grandmother and my grandfather. After they cut the cake and everyone gave their little speeches, each of my grandmothers children danced with her. It was really beautiful.
After that, everyone hit the dance floor. It was really fun. I go to meet a lot of my family that i did not know existed. I also got to see my grandparents who I really do not remember seeing since the day that they moved to Florida. It was a great experience for my whole family. I loved the whole thing!

Its just me...
Some days I am orange, like the sun
Bright and full of energy.
I wake up with a smile on my face
and most of the time I go to sleep
with one also.
But some days i am gray and dull
I wake up cranky, still tired, mad
at the world for some strange reason.
I don't like being bothered.
I just cant wait for the day to be over.
But however I feel, however i act
towards you; don't worry.
Its just me.
Bright and full of energy.
I wake up with a smile on my face
and most of the time I go to sleep
with one also.
